Version 2-beta <Beta Version>

We are thrilled to announce the release of version 2.0 of our Passport OCR API. This upgrade boasts significant improvements in accuracy, making it an ideal solution for passport recognition tasks.

Version 2.0 comes with the ability to read images that have been rotated, and includes an option for segmentation in the event of skewed images, further improving the OCR output quality.

While we continue to work on implementing additional features, please note that at present, check digit and check sum calculations, as well as passport type differentiation, have not been implemented. The API is currently compatible only with type 3 passports that have 44 characters per line in the MRZ.
